In my point of view, the written document that involves the full process and custom of Hokkien marriage is needed for all Hokkien Chinese to refer. The “Federation of Hokkien Associations Malaysia '',the main associations for the Hokkien society, need to have research and development for all the marriage’s custom of Hokkien. They may start to collect the data from different states because the differences between states in customs are smaller compared to the state. Besides, Fujian China is the origin place of the Hokkien culture, therefore, thay may refer to Fujian’s marriage custom when doing the research. For the higher cost of marriage, actually this is not necessary to construct a marriage with high payment which follows all the customs of Hokkien.
